Editing IMP gear in XML Editor?[message #331093]

Hi! I wanted to try out something new by editing the IMP starting gear. I know that you can edit it using the XML Editor, but I've never edited starting gear for IMP mercs before. Additionally, I don't modify much stuff in the XML Editor, so I'm not that smart in using the XML Editor

Please give me detailed information on how I can edit IMP starting gear, as well as other useful information, such as how IMP mercs get their starting gear.

in my opinion, your best bet is to make a second install for experimenting, open the xml editor, and play with it.
there are lots of posts on 'best' imp gear options and many of them talk about the xml editor, and plenty of xml editing posts are around talking about how to use it, what can and can't be changed etc.

generally.. its just a matter of digging in... if you run into a specific problem your more likely to get an answer on it.
