Any info about this quest? This is not in the vanilla quests list and I tried googling about it and searching the forums. Found nothing..
Got the quest after rescuing Maria, forgot about it, now i got a mail from Kingpin that other bounty hunters did the job.
So i loaded an earlier save file to try and find them out of curiosity. Kingpin hinted that they are probably hiding in one of the farms in the northern part of Arulco. So i looked in "farmland" and "farm" tiles, and other nearby tiles too.. Found some bounty hunters but not them. Also tried searching whole tiles, not just in houses/structures.. used multiple search parties.. helicopter.. icecream truck.. multiple reloads..
Now i am just so curious it is driving me nuts.
Where can they be found? What tiles?
And can you warn them that they are being hunted? or bring them to the airport like the Kulbas? or anything other than doing the job?

Here is all i know about that quest
Toggle Spoiler
As far as i know the Dasilvas can't be found, or atleast i never found them,
but you can complete the quest by just killing all bounty hunters on the following sectors: A11, B5, B6, B8, B12, B14, C3, D7
if you kill them all, after a while you will receive a emil from the Dasilva's thanking you,
otherwise after a week you will receive another kingpin message saying you failed and the job was done by others bounty hunters.

well i was frustrated just like you i can't find them anywhere so i take a look at quests.lua and found all the possible sectors and C3 was among them
anyway, like you said i would have liked to talk with Angel and Maria and warn them or escorting them but it make sense you can't find them, since it is not a vanilla quest they will miss speaking lines
On a side note, in quests.lua the Dasilva should be physically placed on one of that sectors, but they are not...maybe a bug?

Found a post on Flugente's Magika Workshop about a new quest. I think this is what that post is about. Can't post a link yet, but there was not much info there too. Can't edit my post anymore to add spoiler tags. I'm pretty sure i was able to a while ago. I'm sorry if this post was a spoiler to anyone. But i guess it's ok since i just used the history page's entry as my topic.
Toggle SpoilerDid you have to clear all those sectors? I guess that would make sense but, kind of too much time and effort for 2 civilians, especially early in the game, when this quest would most likely be encountered. Would probably take at least a day to check all those sectors, not including doctoring/repairing/etc time if needed. And unrealistic too, to prioritize saving them while mercs' contracts are ticking and with other issues(like the urgency of getting a/another mine,etc.). Guess i'll just have to explore next time, they're dead now. Was there a reward btw?
Also, i wonder if killing Kingpin's faction would also end the quest. That seems more practical than searching all those sectors. Going to try it in my next playthrough. Oh, wait.. no.. you'll lose the shops(allowed extra merchants) and fight nights.

Love the whole mod, and this quest makes total sense. The implementation could use some polish, though.
"Northern Arulco" is a pretty large area to cover, and because there are patrols all over, I also gave up and checked the quest lua. This might not be a problem if a few things were added:
First, a notification that I've noticed someone in the area (as with Skyrider or Hamous) when I come across the bounty hunters. Even after I got the list of possible sectors from the lua, I had to visually check each one.
Second, the bounty hunters should act like any other enemy group as soon as any of them is attacked. I had to grid-search both sectors to make sure I got all of them. It'd be nice to know when I've killed them all, or if "there are still enemies in the vicinity."
Third, an immediate email from Kingpin saying that he's lost touch with his other contractors and is now counting entirely on you, instead of leaving the player in suspense until the full week runs out.
Final minor detail: "Angel & Maria have been taken care of" repeats in the history log, once in the sector column and again in the event description. The text spills over the sector column.

I'm well aware that this quest leaves things do be desires. The intention was to create a quest that requires as little hardcoding as possible, as a result, we are limited by what we can do with lua.
Creating a proper way to create and handle quests is on my long-term list of projects, but given how tedious and boring coding that is, that's more likely to be resolved in years than in months.
I know now that it could never work between us, as much as we wanted to, it could never be! Not because you're a rabbit, but because you're black.
If you want, you can donate to me. This will not affect how and what I code, and I will not code specific features in return. I will be thankful though.Report message to a moderator

Just wanted to deposit my two cents, hope you don't mind.
I think this quest needs a good thinking over before it becomes part of the game. I ran into it today and found the whole ordeal rather frustrating.
It fully fits the story, so kudos for that, but...
Major issues:
- The quest is very vague. There's no indication to what you're supposed to do, other than to kill Maria and Angel. There's no hint to a possible other outcome.
I ended up googling for answers.
- The bounty hunters are all over the place. Finding them would take way too much time and it was time that I didn't want to spent since I was in the middle of something else. I also wasn't really interested in a time-limited quest that makes you spent days just traversing North Arulco, looking for needles all the while my mercenaries' expensive contracts keep on ticking. (Time limits in games are never fun in my opinion, especially pressing ones.) I found the sectors through google and ended up saving the game, used the cheat mode, teleported around to see where they were, loaded my game and went there normally. Then, after killing the bounty hunters I saved again, enabled cheats, checked if they were truly all gone (with Alt+E), then loaded again. Because if you manage to overlook one, goodbye Maria.
I could have ignored the quest entirely of course, but I loathe red entries in my logbook.
Minor issues:
- Spelling/grammar error in Kingpin's mail. "Lately" should be "Late". (There are a lot of spelling errors in the game by the way. The use of then instead of than, it's instead of its and stuff like that. Kind of a pity. Is it desired that someone would fix these somehow?)
- Bug in history log, as MeganD also pointed out.
Recommendation:
- As many things are optional in your mod, make custom missions optional as well. I also believe the custom in-game websites and emails associated with them should be optional.
(Maybe some of them are, but I found no way to disable them.)
- Keep quests short and make it clear to what is expected from the player if they're on a time limit.
Please don't get me wrong, I would love to see more quests in the game, but I feel any quest you add should be quick and to the point, without the risk of wasting the player's precious time, like the quests the original developers created. And if it's a long quest that makes you travel a lot (like the one Carmen gives), just remove the time limit.
I hope I don't sound too harsh. I appreciate what you do, keeping one of my top ten games of all times alive and adding a lot of great content to it! (For the most part though. I certainly don't like some of them and not everything can be disabled, but beggars can't be choosers I guess.)

Sorry to necro this topic, but this quest has been unsolvable for me. Ran around all over the place, even resorted to using cheats to CTRL+T to visit all those aforementioned sectors and used Alt+E to reveal all and I never encountered either the bounty hunters or the two siblings. Eventually deadline came around and Kingpin mentions that the business had been taken care by someone more competent. How many bounty hunters are there? Are they all in one sector? Is there some trick to finding these bounty hunters? Or is my game simply bugged?
Edit:
Solution found. Bounty hunters weren't spawning because I didn't set ALLOW_EXTRA_CIVILIANS to true.
Flugente wrote on Wed, 01 July 2020 00:16As was pointed out elsewhere... some people relevant to this quest won't spawn unless ALLOW_EXTRA_CIVILIANS is set to TRUE in JA2_Options.ini. The quest isn't unsolveable otherwise, but one of the quest endings is.
Found them all after enabling it, but an odd behaviour was observed; first group I found was not hostile to me unless I attacked them, and even then the battle ended as soon as the bounty hunter I attacked died and the others still remained non-hostile to me. But the second group opened fire on me as soon as I entered the map, but each of them were still treated as separate parties in which the battle ended as soon as those who are considered hostile at the time died. When I found the last straggler he turned hostile and started a separate battle (indicated in the laptop's history as a separate battle).

Thanks for updating this. I must have missed the part about enabling ALLOW_EXTRA_CIVILIANS. Soon as I made this change they are now spawning.
Edit* Quick question since you completed this. How many groups are there in total? I've found two groups so far with two tiles left to check but not sure how many groups there are suppose to be.
Edit 2* So I just found Angel and Maria in the last sector I checked which is D7. So I have killed 2 groups of bounty hunters and found the targets but I don't really want to kill them. So now I wonder if I've done enough for them to be safe or should I kill them for the reward from Kingpin? hmmmm
