Well I give up. Have sucessfully downloaded, installed and played every mod that has been offered for JA2 and JA2UB, but this one has beat me. Cannot inteligently request assistance, because I cannot even get the damn thing to properly download and install. It just won't do it! Having followed this thread for some time I approached this project with some reservations, looked like it was very "buggy". Did'nt realize I could'nt even get it installed. Am abandoning this attempt. Will wait for next well thought out mod, possibly by Becoming X or Doctor J.

What happens when you try and install the thing? Does the zip not unzip? The exe crap out on you?

If the zip reports errors when trying to unzip, then its a corrupt file and you need to grab it again, preferably from another source.

So, if you can, unzip it to your freshly installed UB directory, and then run ja2mod.exe. If you've got the english copy of UB, you should see alot of question marks in the installer. Just keep clicking the highlighted/selected buttons (hitting the enter button should amount to the same thing) until it does its thing. Then set the campaign and go.

Or is something else going on?

Ok, Relax first.
I also have a couple of problems during the instalation.
What I have done is:
1. Download the Mod
2. Install again JAUB
3. install paches nedeed
4. Install the mod

And finally it works, its a mod worth to play, so try it.

Note: My impression was that my HD was corrupted in the JAUB files due to the several overwriting, so before installing the Mod I run a Scandisk and defrag the HD.

It works for me, so give this fantastic mod another chance

Regards
